Why should I use Web Design by Robert to create my website?
You work directly with Robert, from the first call through launch and after. We build websites for small businesses across NYC and Long Island, including QBT Towing, ANV Remodeling, BTB Renovations and Allergy & Asthma of Queens. Pricing is simple: $999 to build and $75 a month after that, and you see a free preview of your homepage before you commit.
What's included in the monthly service fee?
The $75 monthly fee covers cloud hosting, your SSL certificate, security, cross-browser testing, traffic stats and updates. Need new hours, photos or a new service added? Send it over and we take care of it.
What platform will my new site be built on?
Your site is built on a professional platform made for small business websites, with hosting on Rackspace and AWS. Every site includes an SSL certificate so it loads securely over https, and you get your own login if you ever want to make edits yourself.
Will my new website look good on smartphones?
Yes. Every site we build is responsive, so it adjusts to any screen, from phones and tablets to laptops and desktops. Buttons are easy to tap and your phone number is one tap away.
Is SEO included?
Yes. Every site is set up for search: each service gets its own page, with page titles, headings and descriptions that match how people search in your area. We can also manage your Google Business Profile so your Maps listing and website work together.
Can I use my domain from my previous site?
Yes, as long as you still own it. We connect your domain to the new site and walk you through any steps with your current provider, so your web address stays the same.
Do you work with businesses outside of New York?
Yes. We are based in New York, but we work with clients across the country by phone, email and video call.
